Being No. 1, not good

No. 1 isn't a good place to be the last three week. First there was a loss to Kansas, then there was Texas after that. Kentucky last night done the same thing one week at one and done. It was this kid name Downey who scored 30 as South Carolina beat Kentucky 68-62. The team was cautioned by no less than the President of the United State. He told them earlier in the day to keep their focus, but he didn't count on Downey scoring 30 points. Kentucky high point man for the night was Cousins he scored 27 points. No. 5 Michigan State had a tough test against Michigan, beating them 57-56. Michigan State is now 8-0 in the Big Ten winning their first eight in the conference for the first time since the Magic Johnson 77-78 team. West Virginia down DePaul for their third win in a row to push their record to 16-3 and 5-2 in the Big East. No. 13 Kansas State went into Baylor gym and out lasted them 76-74 to push their record to 17-3 and 4-2 in the Big East. Reggie Jackson of Boston College had 18 points and 7 assists to lead them to a 75-69 win over No. 21 Clemson. Jackson hit 6 of 6 free throw in the last 33.9 second to seal the victory. 12 12 down and gone.
