Games in the NBA

Dwyane Wade scored 24 points and the Heat beat the 76ers 105-78. Jermaine O'Neal added 20 points for Miami, which won third straight, and Udonis Haslem had 13 while Micheal Beasley added 12. The NBA worst team was getting one easy basket after another in transition, hitting outside shots, getting key defensive stop and celebrate a rare victory. The Nets are (5-48) and would like to play Charlotte Bobcats for the rest of the season. Detroit pulled away from Minnesota in the second half and beating them 108-85, for their third straight win. Detroit is 4-2 in February after a 4-19 stretch, but three of the win came against Minnesota and hapless Nets. Still sore, but Rose scored 29 pionts against the Knicks beating them 118-85. Rose made it look easy despite a bruise hip, hitting his first nine shots leading the Bull to victory. Caron Bulter was hitting shot and Haywood was making a difference and the new look Dallas team was rolling. Then, the Oklahoma Thunder roared back with a offensive flurry and and their stingy defense to run away with their seventh straight victory, 99-86. 12 12 down and gone.

Impressive win for New Jersey! Charlotte is fairly strong at home, but the Nets were better in this game. Maybe the win will give the Nets more confidence as they try to make something positive out of what has been a disastrous season.
